Monday, July 17, 940 am, intern appartments
Sigh. So you know how I posted about the buisiness of having 50 students over on a ministry week. Well, this last week, was about 120 students, and it was insane. We've been keeping the same working hours as before (usually between 5 and 6 hours of sleep per night), but with more students, there is just more work to do while at the hostel.
So about half the team arrived as schedualed, sunday morining, and they started the process of getting set up in the hostel, getting thier rooms, and then going out on "streatwise" (where we take them out in the city, help them to start to understand the rail system, and most importantly, keep them awake as late as possible to help overcome jetlag). The other half of the team had to spend a night in Denver, so they ended up arriving a day late. The were supposed to get in about noon local time or so, so we had planed to just jet them plugged into thier teams and send them out with thier teams on sight that day. Well, some got here about 11 am or so, but the other group got here at about 8pm. These people had lost about 2 days of being here. We were all kind of upset (slash mad at Luftansa for one of thier mistakes), until JAS shared with us the story of Gideon. Remember, before a battle, Father widdled down from an army of about 10,000 (or so, i dont know, i'm going from memory) down to 300, and when they were victorius with only the 300, everyone praised Father, because it was not thier power that won the battle but His. Well, for these students, it might not have been the number of people that had come that was widdled down, but the time. But guess what, Father still did some amazing things, both in the hearts of the contacts and in the hearts of the one weekers.

As far as a specific pr request for me, this is the one on my mind right now. On the last work day, in the evening, some things came up that got me thinking about a change to some my college plans once I get home. I'll post some specifics later, but just pr that I would be able to listen for and hear (and then follow) the HS's leading, and that I have discernment in my decisions.
